The world-famous PokerStars event can start in the newly regulated New Jersey online gambling market within several weeks. This information comes from one of top officials of the state. The Garden State senator Ray Lesniak stated, that the official return of this online poker colossus will take ‘weeks, not months’.

Why New Jersey wants PokerStars

According the senator, the PokerStars return can easily spark revival and bring the gambling industry of the state full alive once again. He said that the millions will invest in AC and jobs they will create. AC needs both. According to Lesniak PokerStars will make a huge investment in Atlantic City, not just in internet gaming but in their brand and in bringing attractions to Atlantic City. Hard to disagree with that.

New investments

Especially if we recall, that in 2013 Stars was willing to spend $10 million on construction of a new branded poker room at the Atlantic City casino. Further evidence of New Jersey ambitions of Stars came after word surfaced that the company recently submitted applications for 6new trademarks located in the United States. It has been almost 7 years now, since Stars registered trademarks in the United States. So all the facts are saying that Stars will very soon resume transactions in US dollars.
